Cyd Okino is a former standout junior, collegiate, and professional golfer from Hawai‘i. At age 14, she competed in the U.S. Women’s Open and went on to help Punahou School win four consecutive Hawai‘i State Championships. She continued her career at the University of Washington as an NCAA Division I golfer before playing professionally in Japan until 2019.
Okino returned home to Hawai‘i and spent five years at Pearl Country Club, now Pearl at Kalauao, including three years as Head Golf Professional. She has been coaching at Hawai‘i Pacific University since 2021 and brings extensive playing and professional experience to the Sharks golf program
